He hasn't had a very fun month because either he or one of the girls have been sick so much! He is doing well in school and his biggest complaint is that it takes too long. I think he is bored for the reading and math but he really seems to enjoy science and social studies (although he'd never admit to liking anything). His new obsession is with being an inventor and he is always making "inventions" or doing experiments. Right now we have a cup of water with some stale cereal in it that he is monitoring. He says this time I can't throw it out for 2 days! Blech. He also is very interested in art and always wants to do new art lessons with me. I signed him up for Camp Invention for this summer because it seems to be made just for him! He's really excited about it.

That should be fun for him. Where around there is it being held? I can tell he's lost weight between the two photos(Easter and swing)from where he was sick, or maybe it's just where he's gotten taller...he's losing all his baby fat I'm used to seeing. He's getting so big!! It's almost sad, but it's exciting to see how he changes each time.
Kelsey did Camp Invention last year---it is held at her school. She LOVED it!!!!! I think it will be perfect for Xander given his interests and thinking about what Kelsey did last year. She's going again this year. Her invention last year was a Super Shocker to put in the doorway of her room. It's supposed to keep Malia out. :-)
Xander is such a cute little guy, and such a sweetheart pushing his sisters in their swings!
