I have caught the cold the kids have had and I'm feeling like a big baby. My nose is yucky, my throat hurts, and I'm tired and achey but I don't even have a fever to show for it. I think I'd feel better if I could take my temperature and have some high number to tell people to justify my whining. I even lost my voice for a few hours this afternoon which was no fun when I was trying to get Grace and Greta to understand what I wanted them to do all day. It is mostly back now but Jon is making fun of me for sounding like a man!
Greta and Grace have a cough and runny nose but don't seem to be feeling that bad. They have been taking naps again which I greatly appreciate. Xander has been running a low fever for over a week now but appears to be asymptomatic and Marie and Jon seem to be healthy. Nathan and Kelly are coming to visit later this week so I hope we are all healthy by then!
Here's some pictures from this weekend. When did Xander get so big?

I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well. It's times like this that it would do you good to be closer to family, for help. But, since that's not an option...can you call on some of your friends to maybe take Marie for an hour or so, since she's the healthy one. Or..to watch over the house while you take a nap? What about echinicea...and zinc...would the echinicea hurt Marie in any way? Both of those seemed to help when I could take it. And, up your liquid intake by a lot, too...hot tea really does help. What meds can you take without it messing with Marie? Hope you start feeling better soon. Could be Nate and Kelly would appreciate a heads up so they can decide whether to take a chance on infection.....
oh..and, I also meant to say that I felt the same way about this picture...Xander looks huge...not like our little boy...he looks like a big kid. whimper..
And, Marie's expression is so much fun in this one...
